Our Story
a bridge built on trust
Pastor Kevin and Ellen Foster planted LifeBridge Community Church in 2005, holding the first service on September 11 of that year in a borrowed elementary school. For twelve years the church was portable, setting up and tearing down in eight different locations before finding a permanent home on North Gates Avenue. It began with a simple conviction: that the church should be a bridge, connecting people to God and to one another across every line that would otherwise divide us.
Rooted in Fresno as an Assemblies of God church, we have grown into a multi-generational, multicultural family where grandparents and college students, English and Spanish speakers, lifelong believers and spiritual seekers gather under one hope: Jesus.
We don't have it all figured out. But we trust a God who does, and we are learning to love others the way He loves us: one relationship, one Sunday, one act of hope at a time.

What We Believe
our foundations
As an Assemblies of God church, we hold to the historic, foundational truths of the Christian faith. These beliefs anchor everything we do.
- 01The Scriptures, inspired by God, reveal His will and truth.
- 02There is one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- 03Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead. He is our Savior and Lord.
- 04Humanity fell through sin, bringing separation from God and the need for redemption.
- 05Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
- 06We practice water baptism by immersion and Holy Communion.
- 07The baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers believers for life and witness.
- 08Divine healing is provided for in the atonement.
- 09The Church exists to glorify God and make disciples of all nations.
- 10Christ will return to reign and restore all things, and there is a final judgment and the promise of eternal life.
Loving our city

When the pandemic closed the doors, LifeBridge turned its sanctuary into a storehouse and ran a drive-through food pantry for the neighborhood. In 2021, Fresno County honored the church with its Community Hero Award at the State of the County. That work grew into the ACTS Foundation, and it has never stopped.
