WHAT
WE
BELIEVE
We Believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations. We Believe the way to be cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. We Believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We Believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. We Believe in the Spirit-filled life, by whose indwelling the Christian is given the power to live a victorious and effective life. We Believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—one to everlasting life, and the other to everlasting damnation.

Our

History

LifeBridge Community Church was founded in September of 2005. One year prior, Pastor Kevin, his wife Ellen, and their 2-year-old daughter, Cara, moved from Urbana, Illinois to Fresno, California. They arrived with a vision from God to establish a strong church in an area of the community that was referred to as a “church graveyard.”

LifeBridge Community Church officially began corporate services on the Saroyan Elementary School campus on September 11, 2005. This began a 12-year span as a portable church. During that 12-year span, the church moved to eight different locations. For approximately 624 Sundays, we unloaded and loaded two 24-foot trailers to create an atmosphere in which people could connect to God. As we moved to each different location, God continued to provide the volunteer teams, the influence within the community and the resources needed to continue with our endeavor. This helped to establish a grittiness in our church culture that has enabled us to keep up with God’s pace as He continued to grow our church.

Two years ago, God opened a door of opportunity for us to secure a facility that formerly housed a batting cage. We were able to renovate it to meet our needs for our children, youth, and adult ministries. This building has enabled our ability to multiply our efforts to serve the community.

Hi! My name is Kevin Foster. I have been happily married to Ellen for almost 20 years. We have been so blessed with 3 daughters, Cara 18, Brynn, 15, and Laney, 10. One of our favorite things to do as a family is travel. My girls love everything Disney, and I gladly tolerate it! I love to go off-roading in my Jeep, and I love to go white-water rafting. I’m a huge Chicago Cubs fan, and a huge Chicago Bears fan.

I honestly feel like I have the best job in the world. The people of LifeBridge are the kindest, sweetest, and the most generous group of people, I have ever been around. I truly believe that ministry moves at the speed of relationships. Our relationships with each other, is the only thing we can take to eternity with us. That’s why we make a big deal about relationships at LifeBridge, and really why Ellen and I pioneered LifeBridge in 2005. We wanted to see bridges established between humanity and God, and bridges established between differing people groups, that had never existed. We have been blessed to see this occur on exponential levels. I want to personally invite you to what God is doing at LifeBridge!

Hola, my name is Jesús Hernandez,

I am currently an Associate Pastor at Iglesia LifeBridge, serving our Spanish congregation along with my wife Sandra. Some of my favorite things to do include mission trips, traveling, spending time with my family and meeting new people and getting to know their stories.

My desire has always been to serve God and love people. I have a passion to teach, encourage, and empower people with the word of God. My vision is to reach the Hispanic families in our community and share with them the life changing Love of Jesus through the Word of God and the many ministries we offer at LifeBridge Church.

Hi, my name is Sandra Hernandez,

I currently serve at Iglesia LifeBridge to the spanish congregation alongside my husband Jesús. Together we have three beautiful children, Nadia, Alondra and Ian. We also have a son-in-law, Noli and our first granddaughter Alayna.

Some of my favorite things to do include cycling and learning about different cultures. I love spending quality time with my children, my husband, and my adorable grand baby.

I have a passion for people and my mission in life is to love and bring hope. My prayer is to be used as a vessel to connect a community for Christ.
