Our history

LifeBridge Community Church was founded in September of 2005. One year prior, Pastor Kevin, his wife Ellen, and their 2-year-old daughter, Cara, moved from Urbana, Illinois to Fresno, California. They arrived with a vision from God to establish a strong church in an area of the community that was referred to as a “church graveyard.”

LifeBridge Community Church officially began corporate services on the Saroyan Elementary School campus on September 11, 2005. This began a 12-year span as a portable church. During that 12-year span, the church moved to eight different locations. For approximately 624 Sundays, we unloaded and loaded two 24-foot trailers to create an atmosphere in which people could connect to God. As we moved to each different location, God continued to provide the volunteer teams, the influence within the community and the resources needed to continue with our endeavor. This helped to establish a grittiness in our church culture that has enabled us to keep up with God’s pace as He continued to grow our church.

In 2017, God opened a door of opportunity for us to secure a facility that formerly housed a batting cage. We were able to renovate it to meet our needs for our children, youth, and adult ministries. This building has enabled our ability to multiply our efforts to serve the community.

Our beliefs

We Believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations.

We Believe the way to be cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

We Believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We Believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We Believe in the Spirit-filled life, by whose indwelling the Christian is given the power to live a victorious and effective life.

We Believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost-one to everlasting life, and the other to everlasting damnation.
